Case study / Global platform

One idea. Every market. Still one brand.

A campaign platform transcreated - not translated - across 10+ languages, so it felt native in each market while staying unmistakably one campaign.

The business problem

Global platforms usually die one of two deaths. Either the idea is flattened into a lowest-common-denominator template that lands nowhere, or each market reinvents it and the brand shreds into a dozen local campaigns wearing the same logo. The brand needed a third path: one platform, many markets, no drift - across languages as different from each other as they are from English.

The approach: fix the idea, flex the culture

We drew one hard line. The platform idea and the distinctive brand assets were fixed centrally and never negotiated. Everything cultural flexed per market: casting, idiom, humour, references, music. Native voice and native type in every language - because a line that sings in English and limps in Marathi is not one campaign, it is one market's campaign with subtitles.

The discipline behind it is transcreation, not translation: before any market wrote a word, we agreed what the original line was doing - the feeling, the promise - and protected that, not the sentence. One team owned the standard from concept to final local cut, so quality decisions never dissolved into vendor chains.

The output

One platform running native in 10+ languages across the portfolio's markets - films, campaign assets and channel content that each feel made in their market, and read everywhere as one unmistakable campaign.

The outcome

Local relevance without brand drift, measured in the way that matters: markets stopped asking to reinvent the platform, because their version already felt theirs. The brand kept one global story with many native voices - and the playbook became repeatable, now applied to every platform the portfolio launches. The wider argument is in borderless creativity.

What made it scalable

The split itself. Deciding in advance exactly what is fixed and exactly what flexes removed the negotiation that usually consumes global campaigns. Add native craft in every language - the same discipline we bring as a creative agency in India working across four continents - and scale stopped being the enemy of feeling.

Questions, answered

What is transcreation in a campaign?

Transcreation rebuilds creative work for a new language and culture so it carries the same meaning, feeling and persuasive effect - adapting references, tone and casting rather than swapping words. Translation keeps the sentence; transcreation keeps the effect.

How do you keep one brand across many markets?

Fix the platform idea and distinctive assets centrally, and flex everything cultural per market with native voice and type in every language. One team owns the standard from concept to final local cut.
